KOINONIA MEETING

We had the last meeting of this year: Sunday November 30th. There we chose our new staff for the next 2 years. We had a great time of fellowship, singing and preaching. Our guest speaker was Rev. Eduardo Felix who was for more than 23 years the speaker at "Radio Transmundial".

His message was uplifting and encouraging. I directed the program and lead the congregation in singing and worship. I was really blessed to worship our Lord with those worship songs that elevated our spirit in adoration to our heavenly Father.

Before the sermon we had the election time of our new staff. I was surprised to be re-elected as a vice-president. Pastor Sandor Berta was re-elected as a President again, and also Ernesto Alfonzo was reelected as a director of the Christian Education area.

We want to be of help to all of our fellow pastors and church members. We need to be united. We need to work together for the cause of the gospel. Sadly, not all of the pastors want to embrace this vision. It seems as if every one has their own agenda and don't want to participate unless they can further their own agendas. Sad to say, but this is a painful reality in our churches. I invite all pastors to let aside those things that hinder our unity. It is time to come with one goal in mind and that is: to work together for the sake of the gospel.
